FeistyFitzy started with one Irish dancing kid, a pile of feis schedules, and a mom who could never find spirit wear that felt special enough for the moments that matter.
I’m Shannon, the designer and dance mom behind FeistyFitzy. What began as a handful of custom shirts for my daughter Coco’s Irish dance school has grown into a full-on creative studio dedicated to custom Irish dance school apparel, keepsakes, and gifts that dancers and families actually want to wear.
From Irish dance team gear for school collections to cozy pajamas, ornaments, coloring books, and “only dancers will get it” inside-joke designs, every piece is created with the Irish dance community in mind. I work directly with schools, teachers, and parents to build collections that feel true to each academy’s vibe—logos, colors, and all those tiny details that make a team feel like a team.
Quality and trust are huge for me. I’m picky about fabrics, finishes, and print methods, and I’m honest about timelines, especially on made-to-order or pre-sale items. Many of our pieces are customizable, so dancers, siblings, and feis friends can add their name, title, or year and make it their own.
At its heart, FeistyFitzy is about celebrating the whole journey—beginner to Oireachtas to Worlds, plus every late-night practice, car-ride pep talk, and kitchen-floor reel in between.
